Audrey + Frank married at Cafe Brauer in June, in the midst of a thunderstorms that persisted throughout the day. Luckily their spring-inspired flowers brought some much needed brightness to the overcast skies, and were color matched to the interior mosaics within the venue.

We focused on creating jaw-dropping floral that called upon spring’s finest flowers — local Wisconsin lilacs, cafe latte petunias, Icelandic poppies, clematis, and more. We used a mix of varying shades of lavender and darker purples to help accentuate the buttery yellows interspersed throughout the design. We were cautious to not lean in too hard to the pastels, so the darker purples helped to add some needed drama to the color scheme.
